The Cotton Row Run

Mom's boss was exiting the 10K as I was getting ready to run the 5. She stopped long enough for a picture despite her knee injury!Wow...I'm really a runner! :)

Whew!

My husband and son were there to cheer me on, but Dave missed seeing me cross the finish line because Casey was getting so much attention from the crowd! What can I say? He's a handsome boy.

Dave's Truck

What's left of it anyway. They say things have to get worse before they get better....The parts truck or as I like to call it "The Victim Truck." Dave moved it out of site for me when the grass started growing up around it. So we still look like poor white trash, but at least I don't see it. Hahaha.

Letterboxing

Casey and I went letterboxing today and are officially hooked. If you don't know what letterboxing is, check out www.letterboxing.org The first one we found was at the Madison County Nature Trail . See anything here? Well-hidden, huh?
Found it!

Afterward, we went to Brusters since I had a coupon for a free birthday cone. They gave Casey a doggie sundae (vanilla ice cream with a milkbone on top). Of course he ate half of Mommy's too.

After a quick visit at Mom's workplace (she had to show off her grandson!) we headed up Monte Sano Mountain to the Trough Springs Trail. Found another letterbox in this "eagle rock."

Boxers Boxers Everywhere!

Today was Casey's first Boxer playdate and he socialized much better with the other dogs than we expected. Can't wait until June's meetup!

Getting a kiss from Maggie.

Puppies! Can we take one home please?

Casey wanted to be in on every single rough and tumble play fight that went on. Daddy had to hold him back!

Hot-tubbing with friends.
Getting a treat!

For a dog that acts like baths are torture, he sure loved the wading pool. Guess we are going to have to get him one!

I can't remember this brindle's name. There wereover 25 gorgeous Boxers there today not including the 8 puppies!
