McGuire's Irish Pub

There is a dearth of young married couples in our social circle so when we finally get around some, we really don't know how to behave ourselves.

We write stupid stuff on perfectly good money
And staple it to a doorway

I love McGuire's restroom signs. A guy walked in while I was washing my hands and didn't know what to do. The look on his face as he tripped over himself trying to leave was priceless. I'm just glad the shoe wasn't on the other foot!

More Diving

I'm not even going to tell you what treasures we found on this trip because you would be too jealous. More importantly, you would probably start dumpster diving yourself and we can't have any competition stealing the goodies! :p I think Aran has found his calling in life. Now I just have to teach him about Ebay and Craigslist so he can share in phase two of the diving experience!

Julie's New House

Julie's new house is so cute! I should have taken pictures, but of course Noah always steals the show. He wanted to go home with "Aunt" Jenn of course!

Aran's New Favorite Hobby

Dave, Dad, and I have been diving for a few months here and there and when Aran found out about it, he couldn't wait to go! Dave working ridiculous hours for SMD Conference presented us with the perfect opportunity to dumpster dive for a couple days straight. Aran is a natural and can't wait to find more treasures. :)

We hit paydirt inside the Game Stop dumpster.
Aran displaying one fruit of his labor. It is amazing how wasteful American society is. On this trip we found:

300-500 (haven't counted yet) new Simplicity and Butterick patterns
10 DVDs
3 Video games
1 new in the box toilet seat
4 Bed Bath and Beyond decorative curtain rods
50 Hallmark cards
other stuff I can't even remember!

Weenie Roast

Dave demonstrating the recession-proof way of eating out. :) We had fun roasting hot dogs and sitting out on the deck to eat them. Sometimes we forget how fun the little things in life can be.
