After the ruins, it was time to head home. Here's Eline and her new bumper sticker. It says "Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life" in Italian.
When Csilla needed to use the restroom and Eline suggested we stop at a bar, I thought it a little odd but shrugged it off as a cultural thing. Maybe it's acceptable here to bring a child into a bar and just use the bathroom, I thought. :)
An Italian bar is actually more like an American convenience store except better! In addition to the typical snacks, cola, beer, etc available there is a pastry case and a bar serving up coffee and hot chocolate. No stools though. Just chug it down and be on your way! The server was such happy guy! He was all smiles as he posed for a picture and gave us each a free cookie.Csilla treated us to some beverages. She had a capuccino, Eline had a cinnamon hot chocolate, Meaghan had a Fanta, and I had an apricot nectar drink.
Csilla took 2 seconds of video without even knowing it so here it is!
