Fun little day

The Community Free Clinic had open house in their new building. It's really nice! Mom has a humongous new office to decorate.

Dad bought the girls a drinking fountain which Krissy loooooves. She followed me to the sunroom and when I placed it on the ground she started drinking like there was no tomorrow. She even started dipping her paw in and bringing it to her mouth at one point. Too cute.

Kids and Dogs - that's where it's at!

About 1/2 of you will know where I got the title from. ;)

I went to Noah's house today to meet his new puppy. This is Cooper. Isn't he gorgeous?
Noah seems pretty bonded to him already and even shares his toys and chicken nuggets with his new friend.

Thanks for having me over, Julie! It was a blast.

Louie is growing up

I got to visit Louie today at Mom and Dad's house. Hasn't he gotten big? He's too little to run around with Huey and Dewie and the chickens so he stays in a little pen for now. Huey and Dewie are very protective of him and even sleep by his pen. Mom and I got him out for a swim and took some video.

Southern Plate

I'm totally addicted to Southern Plate. The recipes are so easy and delicious. Low fat too (yeah right!). Tonight I made chicken divan with peas instead of broccoli and me-me's mashed potatoes.
Publix had lamb-shaped butter for 1/2 price since Easter is over and I thought, why not?

Guess who immediately cut the butt off!For dessert I made Boston creme pies. So easy and sooooo good. check out the recipe on Southern Plate. I'm ashamed to admit how quickly we finished these off.
Interesting...check out the can of peaches that came with this month's Angelfood. Pretty neat!

Church Stuff

Aran made his guitar-playing debut this morning. He did a great job. It's no easy task to play and sing simultaneously when you are first starting out! There's video below. Visit the blog directly to see it if you are on Facebook.

I got a duck! Meet Louie. He's going to Mom and Dad's to live with Huey and Dewey. Much like people dump their kids off on their parents to raise...hahaha. Special thanks to the Cedillos for picking him up for me.
He (or she) is a non-flying mallard. Should he turn out to be a she, we'll just switch to "Louise." :)

He slept in my hand the entire service! He wants to be held constantly. Sweetness!

Nashville Zoo

For my 27th birthday, Dave took me to Nashville. We had breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts, went to the zoo, and hate a late lunch at Red Lobster. It was such a beautiful day!

See the leopard hiding?

These little guys were too cute. At the end of this post there's some video of them playing together. You'll have to go directly to the blog since it won't show up on Facebook.

Yay for Americanized Italian food!

Since everybody had other obligations Friday, we had a little birthday celebration Monday night at Olive Garden. I figure if Csilla can live in Rome and miss Macaroni Grill, then there's nothing wrong with my liking Olive Garden just as well as true Italiano!

Caramel macchiato: totally worth keeping you awake all night

Can't let any go to waste!

1/2 the group is paying attention at least

Mom and Dad got me a beautiful sapphire necklace.

What's a continental restaurant birthday without wait staff coming out and pretending to be excited that it's your birthday?? A sad birthday indeed!Thank God they didn't bring out a giant hat ala Red Lobster

Aran partied just a little too hard.

Happy Ishtar, people!

Somebody ate the butt off my lamb cake before I could take a picture. Found out later that somebody was my husband. At least I know he likes my baking!

You're never too old for an Easter basket. Thanks, Mom!
Cindy took some family shots and despite camera setting issues she had some turn out well.

This one is the best, I think.
