The Melting Pot

Sundays are ironically the busiest, most hectic day of the week for us. I can't say I'm thrilled when my birthday falls on a Sunday, but Dave helped make up for the fact by taking me out to The Melting Pot for dinner. While the food and atmosphere were amazing, the best gift of all was a few hours of freedom from a clingy baby! Sorry, Trudy but it's the truth. Thanks, Mom and Dad, for keeping her!
Do you fondue?
The booths are set up to make patrons feel like they are the only ones in the restaurant. We didn't see any other diners until we left the building. Loved the light fixture in the booth and took a picture.
First course was a cheese fondue
The second course was a salad and I neglected to take a picture. Third course was meats and veggies. We both like the filet mignon best, although the ravioli was the best we've ever tasted.

Don't forget the best part...dessert. We opted for dark chocolate fondue with sea salt. Yum!
