White Water Rafting

"Pastor Dad" treated almost the entire church to a white water rafting trip on the Ocoee River. We rented 15-passenger vans and had lots of fun on the trip to and from the river.

We had a picnic lunch before orientation.

Dave, Jake, Josh, Isaac and I were on Cooper's raft. He was as lot of fun.

The rest of the Andrew, Cindy, Nina, Andrea, Andy, and Patti were on Wheeler's raft.

Gilbert, Brandon, Aran, Jacob, and Shena were on Butterfly's raft. He was kind of a stick-in-the-mud from all accounts, but they had a good time in spite of him.

Soakin' wet and happy! Thanks for the trip, Dad! We had so much fun.

Farewell House!

The Lord gave us a nice little send off for our last day in our home. Isn't it gorgeous? I don't remember ever seeing a rainbow this bright. There's actually another fainter one above it, but you can't see it in the picture.

Movin' on up

It's really happening! I was so nervous about the piano but it made it safely over to it's temporary home at Mom and Dad's thanks to Dave, Dad, Gilbert, Brandon, and Aran.

Trying to get 21 people (12 of them age 10 and under!) to all be still and smile simultaneously while looking in the same direction is no easy task. Julie rigged a coat stand and a towel to prop up my camera.



This isn't the best Photoshop job in the world, but I just couldn't handle the Panda rug or the crookedness.

I'm sure the moms didn't appreciate my laughing or see the humor in the situation at the time but I hope they can laugh at it in hindsight. I'm laughing just looking at these pictures! Sorry ya'll, but watching this many kids being wrangled and thinking of how we would wind up in the end with a serene family photo to display was just too funny to me. Then again, I have a warped sense of humor.
