Mom and I found some super tacky earrings on clearance for a buck. We decided it was worth the money to see if the guys would notice our bling. It took them a while, but they eventually did. ;)

We are so getting a TV. This kids entertainment requirements are getting to be too much for me to handle on my own. Hopefully when she is mobile she can entertain herself better.

The Koala Hat

It's so freakin' cute it deserves its own post. I saw a similar hat online and emailed my crochet guru with a picture. She recreated it without a pattern because she's just that good! Isn't my little koala the cutest thing you've ever laid eyes on? Say yes!

We think that with the combination of this hat and the cow print diaper, she should be the new mascot for Outback Steakhouse.

Date Morning

Date "night" is a thing of the past until Trudy's sleep schedule becomes more flexible. Mom and Dad were nice enough to stay with Trudy while we had a date morning at Dunkin' Donuts. Dunkin, why oh why won't you come to Huntsville? We have more Yankees here than Pensacola does. They will surely patronize your establishment. Please open a franchise here!!

Black Friday

Mom and I didn't go overboard, but we do have a tradition three years running to visit Joann's the day after Thanksgiving. I got some great yarn and crochet books so Trudy will soon have little crochet toys and animals in addition to her crochet food. Also we stopped by Kohl's and I got 66% off of a Pyrex set I'd been wanting. There were only three left so thankfully I got one.

6:00 am and we're on our way. Bright-eyed and bushy tailed no less. Trudy slept for four hours of the 5 1/2 hour trip. Yay!

Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving

I who always have the camera glued to my side like an additional appendage forgot to bring it for this occasion. I don't know why. It's not like I have anything else on my mind or plenty of other things to do ever. *sigh* Of course nobody else brought one so Dad was kind enough to purchase an overpriced disposable camera in the Cracker Barrel store so that we could have a remembrance of the holiday. Between the dim lighting and the poor quality camera, this is what we wound up with. Still, it's better than nothing! Must blog and scrap at all costs. ;)

Trudy screamed almost the entire time. She hates loud crowds and background noise.
