We slipped outside for some pics this afternoon. He wasn't too happy about the mild temps.

Notice his blanket has pink in it? That's what happens when you have a big sister and a crappy mom. ;)

 Sleepytime is all the time. So why aren't we getting more sleep??

Welcome Baby!

William Augustus Gervens is here! Born September 17, 2012 at 10:37PM. 7lbs, 5oz 19 inches after only 3 hours of labor. Fun story. ;)

We were a little disturbed that he didn't look like either one of us. Today we brought out our baby books and realized he's a chip off the old block!

Minutes after birth with our amazing midwives who we kind of threw for a loop. Nothing like staggering in the door of the birth house and delivering 20 minutes later.

Trudy trying to figure out what all the fuss is about. Her first reaction when she saw him up close was "Baby's toe paint is gone-gone."  Yes, yes indeed. Permanently "gone-gone." ;)
