Week 12 #Project365

Here’s hoping the next few weeks will contain more outdoor pictures as the weather warms up.

March 20 – I made Gus a sweet potato/breastmilk puree. He didn’t care for it. He likes yogurt though at least.

March 21 – Goodbye Jeep. We decided my grandfather’s 1947 Willys Jeep pickup was too much of project for Hubs to restore in this lifetime. Now maybe if we didn’t have kids…A local body shop owner bought it to park in his shop as a conversation piece so I’m glad others will get to appreciate it.

March 22 – A girl at our MOPS meeting was wearing the prettiest headband.

March 23 – My String Easter Eggs are dry!

March 24 – Gus is ready for the local splash pad to open.

March 25 – Gus’ Easter outfit is ready to go!

March 26 – The Dollar Tree threw up in my living room. Let’s hope it vomited up enough to keep Sweet T  busy until it’s warm and dry enough to go outside.

Weeks 10 & 11 #Project365

Last week was a tad bit crazy so I missed posting a week of Project 365. Here's the last two weeks together.

March 6 - Why are babies even cuter when they are bathing?

March 7 - You may have outgrown your Cozy Coo when you can reach the mobile and yank the little animals into your mouth.

March 8 - Trudy and I aren't paleo so much anymore. Good for Daddy at keeping it up.

March 9 - Peekaboo from the playground

March 10 - When Daddy let me drive

March 11 - Everybody loves parfait!

March 12 - Southwest Salmon Salad

March 13 - My wonderful dad took a day off of work to help me with the kids while I was sick. He entertained Sweet T for a solid hour with a piece of cheese wax that came off a Baby Bel. They "painted" their nails with it. Eww!

March 14 - Keeping with the hand theme. Sweet T loves her new glitter tattoos.

March 15 - To the doctor we all went! Sweet T needs to take yogurt with her antibiotic but the only way to get her to eat it is to tell her it's medicine and administer it as such. She'll eat an entire adult serving this way. Wonder if I could puree liver and onions and get the same result?

March 16 - Gus discovers coffee. He'll never be the same.

March 17 - Celebrating St. Paddy's with a Gigi's Cupcake...and no green.

March 18 - Gus' 6 month picture, late as always

March 19 - Since bathing babies are so cute, here's another one.

Gus: 6 Months

We'll only have a baby for 6 more months. Not sure whether to cry or be relieved. A little of both I think.

Black and White Week #Project365

The first two pictures I took this week wound up having lighting issues so I made them black and white as a cheat. Then I thought why not mix it up a little this week and make them all black and white?

Feb 27 - Never wake a sleeping toddler, right? Well you do if she's oversleeping and won't be napping that afternoon if you don't! I couldn't believe opening her door and turning on the light didn't wake her up and I used the opportunity to snap a picture of the only time she is still.

Feb 28 - Gus got his first taste of solids (an apple pureed in my Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker) and was less than impressed. Mommy, however was impressed with the Babycook! It's going to be so nice to feed him whole foods and not worry about buying up little jars.

March 1 - My cookie jar from Painting Memories is ready! I'll post a full color picture of it sometime too.

March 2 - Trudy with our friends' little boy, Jack. We have a picture of me and Jack's dad in a similar chair in the same pose at the same ages. We're 30 and 29 now! It's neat to see the pictures side by side.

March 3 - It doesn't get any sweeter

March 4 - Entranced by Elmo

March 5 - Gluestick + paper scraps = happy toddler
