Happy Birthday to Me and Gus' first ER visit

I had a relaxing birthday planned. Aunt Katy brought me a cool planter, 

 Mom brought me an awesome cake,

I got a massage and immediate afterward a phone call that Gus had landed himself in the ER.

He was brave for his stitches and actually cried less than when he gets a haircut.

Easter Sunday

I love the tradition of each family bringing fresh flowers to place on the cross before church.

 Gus loved being heard!

Egg Drop

A local church had a huge Easter festival and a helicopter dropped eggs onto the ground for kids to pick up. It was so cold, we just rode some horses, ate some snacks, got a couple of balloon animals and headed home.

 God loves you, but life is sooooo hard.
