Trick-or-Treat!

Since Trudy' been having such teething/crankiness issues, trick-or-treating consisted of visiting our neighbor’s house then putting her to bed! She still looked cute in her Minnie Mouse outfit though even if she wouldn't leave the ears on.

She did not want Grandma T to hold her…

but was happy to enjoy all the goodies she sent her home with including apples,

Teething...

is so difficult. Thanks goodness for Eeyore and his cuddly ears!

Playtime

I can't take a decent picture indoors or when the sun is shining, but give me a cloudy day and a camera and I'm a happy camper. Today was overcast so I took Trudy to the park and captured some playtime moments without having to worry about lighting.

Down on the Farm

 We spent the day at Gullion Farms for “Down on the Farm” 2011. Gullion Farms is located in Somerville, Alabama and opens it’s “doors” to the public each year on Saturdays during the month of October.

Of course Trudy liked playing with the gravel on the drive more than the corn pit, just like she likes playing with the box more than the toy.

There are enough activities, food, and fun to keep the kids entertained all day long…if you can convince them to get out of the corn jump. You think a ball pit is fun? Just wait. Heck,I didn’t want to get out. Thank goodness I had a toddler with me as an excuse to jump in there with the kids.

What is a farm without animals? Trudy enjoyed 
feeding
 watching Mommy feed the “baa-baas” (any large mammal is a “baa-baa” right now) which included sheep, goats, a donkey, and a 3 week-old calf. Ducks, rabbits, and chickens also abound.
