A bidet! Does it get any classier? Csilla thinks so. Like the removal of that waterlogged board for starters. From trailer trash to Eurotrash. Nothing says "Ciao, ya'll" better.

All Roads Lead to traffic jams

It was raining on our way home from the airport, but rain or shine it's impossible to capture the crazy driving on film. I'll just attempt to describe.

That reflective stripe is a tractor-trailor that is THAT close. And everyone is ok with this...

Everyday, normal bottleneck. We also saw someone riding the shoulder as if that's what it was made for whilst a motorbike weaved in out of traffic.

That's kilometers per hour thankfully.

Mom has chickens??!!

Guess the obsession is infectious. Mom went from eye-rolling to having a brood of her own!

Here are the Dixie Chicks; Buffy, Beth, and Bindi in their travel container. Home for now is the guest bathroom tub which is kept at 95 degrees with a heat lamp.

Bindi needed a talking to for being sassy. :)

Dave doesn't "do" chickens, but since these are Mom's special ones....

Let it Snow!

Not quite enough to snow us in (it doesn't take much in Alabama!) but we still enjoyed it a little before church.

When we weren't being entertained by the menagerie, we managed to put together a puzzle and eat some fried jalepeno rings. Yum! Maybe we should all be exiting quietly instead as it looks like Jake is deciding who he'd like to kill next. Not it!

Valetine's "Day"

Since Dave had to work on Valentine's, we celebrated today instead by going shopping and to Ketchup. I've blogged about Ketchup before here, but was able to get better pictures in the daylight.
