Fiddler's Convention

The three of us spent the afternoon at ASU's annual Fiddler's convention. It was a great way to relax outdoors and enjoy our first day of fall weather.

Trudy loves to be outside. Combine that with thousands of people walking by and live music for one happy baby. She was content to sit and watch the world go by which never happens at home. No, at home her minions must walk her around constantly to "see what she can see." The minions enjoyed the relaxation to say the least!

Aunt Trudy and Uncle Bob

Trudy got a teddy bear in the mail today from her namesake. I've never met Dave's great aunt Trudy, but early in our marriage when heard her name I knew that's what I wanted for my daughter if I was ever blessed with one.

There's pictures of Trudy with everyone but me so I had Dave snap one at church tonight just because. What a happy camper!

Girl's Day Out

Mom came over today and took Trudy and me out for sushi and shopping.

She's less than thrilled about dressing up, but we had to seize the opportunity to wear a non Daddy approved outfit. He's against hair accessories and pretty much anything that's not a onesie or a sleeper. :)

Trudy loves her Wubbanub, "Moe." Life has gotten much easier since we brought him into the family!

Depot Days

Mom and Dad were kind enough to keep Trudy for a day and a night so we could celebrate our 8th anniversary. We had a nice time eating out, shopping, and sleeping...LOTS of sleeping. We also went to the Depot Days festival to look at the cars, tractors, and crafts.

I had more fun people watching than anything else. :)

Trudy has been gracing us with social smiles for over a week and I finally caught one on camera. I'm sure she'll be perfecting this trick when she learns how far it will get her with her daddy!
