Disney On Ice

Julie's Dad won four tickets to Disney On Ice and Julie and Madeline were kind enough to invite Trudy and me to go with them! Next time I will remember to bring my zoom lens.

The girls had fun together staying up waaaay past their bedtime. Gus stayed at home with Daddy and didn't give him TOO much trouble. He wouldn't go to sleep though without nursing. Uh-oh.

Thankfully they didn't beg for overpriced merchandise such as rainbow Mickey brains. ;) 

Now I want to go to Disney World!

Week 19 #Project365

May 7 - Following in my shoes

May 8 - All of my calories are going straight to his thighs. ;)

May 9 - We enjoyed a day at a local farm

May 10 - Our last MOPS meeting of the school year was a spa day. We got chair massages and made Kool-Aid lip gloss.

May 11 - A package arrived from Mom-mom. Now my Junior AsparaGUS has a Junior Asparagus of his own!

May 12 - Honeysuckle sure is sweet-smelling and pretty for a parasite!

May 13 - Dad replaced Mom today as my mother's helper. Sweet T didn't seem to mind.

First Library Trip

Trudy enjoyed her very first trip to the library today. She was excited to find a Curious George section! It was Gus' first trip too, but I'm not sure I'm going to count it for him. ;)

Week 17 #Project365

April 23 - Toe painting time.

April 24 - A quick trip to Aldi. Here's a cart we don't have to pay a quarter for!

April 25 - Cricket enjoys Trudy's baths even if it means a face full of water for him.

April 26 - The view of our side yard. Future site of a garage with storm shelter underneath.

April 27 - Enjoyed some sushi and a good book while my parents had the kids.

April 28 - Dave grills a mean pork chop

April 29 - I know you are wondering what Pink Pig has  been up to this week. He likes to wear Gus' sleep sack for nap time.

Junior Asparagus

Gus' nickname is "Asparagus" and I often call him Junior Asparagus after the Veggie Tales character. Mom mom made him a Junior Asparagus of his own! She made Trudy a Laura Carrot and so far we've been able to keep her from taking over her brother's asparagus.

Playdate at Gullion Farms

My MOPS group scheduled a playdate at Gullion Farms. Thankfully Katy, Bella, and the boys were working that day and were able to help wrangle in their spare moments. Gus even got a couple of naps in!

#project365 It's Crazy Cat Lady Week!

There's nothing cuter than babies with animals and every time I turned around Gus and Cricket were looking cute together. I'd whip out the phone and capture the moment quickly before one of them moved. If only Trudy would warm up to our new family member! This week was definitely more about moments than photographic technique and that's ok.

April 30th - Cricket likes to sleep on Gus while he's nursing.

May 1 -  Baby toes, kitty toes, painted toes: We've got 'em all!

May 2 - Playing with the same toy together

May 3 - Happy birthday a day early,  Aran! The middle child has to light his own birthday candle.

May 4 - Honestly, I don't care if you think the books should be banned and burned or if you have leather bound copies of the entire series in your personal library. You've got to admit that a 40ish woman driving around like this is equivalent to me sporting and Edward Cullen bottle cap necklace while grocery shopping with my kids. Whether you think 50 Shades is smut or literature. JUST LAUGH. I won't tell anyone.

May 5 - Trudy helping Daddy make bacon and eggs

May 6 - Mom gets her Mother's Day present early since she's spending May 12th in Orlando with Mickey Mouse.
