Let it Snow...again

We enjoyed snow again today. So strange for Alabamma! Dave went into work late and we played before he left.

The snowfall didn't start until 8:00 PM and being the crazy Southerner I am, I ran out and took pictures in the dark after the kids were in bed.

It Snowed!

Snow is a major event here in the Tennessee Valley. Gus was not impressed with the strange white substance that made his hands cold.

They want their hair back. We took Trudy's cruise ship braids out tonight. They lasted forever! This is what they created. She was not happy about the waves and wanted them washed out right away.

Bricks For Kidz

Trudy and I enjoyed a Mommy and Me Lego playdate today, and Gus…well, wreaked havoc while we played. ;) Beth from Bricks 4 Kidz offers after-school classes, preschool classes, camps, field trips, scouting activities, and birthday parties all featuring Lego or Duplo blocks. Our MOPS group got together for some preschool fun. Today’s Mommy and Me play group cost only $5 per family and was all about giraffes. Beth started off with an interactive group activity to teach the kids about giraffes and how tall they are. Next, she showed us how to make a Duplo giraffe, then read us a giraffe story.
