Brandon Turns 17

So sorry you were sick on your birthday, Brandon. This is the only picture I got before my battery died. I bet you wished not to be sick anymore! ;)

Basketball Game at CCS

Brandon and Aran were both playing Cornerstone and it was a little weird to be sitting on the opposite side of the bleachers. Actually it was weird to walk into my high school for the first time in 11 years. It looks and even smells exactly the same and I found myself wondering where all my friends were and why we aren't young anymore.

Go Eagles! (I guess?) Go Aran #42 anyway. ;)

Aran's JV team won their game.
It was good to see the Pulaski's again. Trudy was happy to see her Jake and even let Andrea hold her for a while.

Flashback to 1999! I should have gotten a group picture of everyone on the bleachers since they were all present except for the Homans, but I guess we'll give them a pass since they are in Rome.

Unfortunately Brandon's team lost their game by a few points, but we still loved watching both of them play.

I tried to get a picture of Trudy sitting in my old morning chapel seat, but she didn't want to be still.

Afterwards, most of us went out to Steak N Shake. Thanks for treating, Dad!

Future Blogger

I wonder what she'll write about: cloth diapers, chicken nugget preferences across the fast food industry, or why Eeyore isn't as respected as Tigger?

The PlayPlace USA

The PlayPlace is an indoor playground with inflatable slides and ballpits as well as bean bag chairs, Nick Jr. on an giant screen, coloring station, Lego station, snacks, drinks, and more. We went ahead and got Trudy a VIP membership until the end of February so we can visit as much as we like. It's just too cold and wet to go to the park in the winter. Hopefully she still appreciates our good old free playground in the spring!

Christmas with Mom mom and Pop pop

Dave's parents stopped by on their way home from Kristie's so Christmas was extended by a few days! Like our "tree?" It sure is easier to put up and take down than the traditional variety.
Linda made an adorable stuffed monkey for Trudy. We named her Margaret before deciding that wasn't cool since Trudy and I have an Aunt Margaret so she's Maggie for short

Mom mom made Trudy a fleece Eeyore jacket with Eeyore buttons. Once she decided to put it on, we couldn't take it off her without her crying! Didn't matter than the woodburning stove had the house up to 75 degrees and she was sweating. She had to have this on!

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down.

 PJ's from Aunt Dawn.
 A cowgirl ornament.

Now that she has her own phone, maybe she can refrain from dunking ours into drinking glasses.

Mom picked out the cutest outfit and accessories for me. I couldn't have done better if I was shopping for myself!

Dad didn't feel the same way

Thanks for stopping by to visit, Mom mom and Pop pop. We hope you can stay longer next time.
