Our House Got a Facelift

Mom and Dad gave our yard a makeover today. They had a little help from Trudy. Hopefully she inherited Mom mom's green thumb.

Before

After

It's always nice when your house doesn't look like it has bodies in the basement. Thanks, Mom and Dad!

Batman isn't afraid of tornadoes

There may be tornadoes all around North Alabama tonight, but they are no match for Batman!

Sidewalk Chalk

We had some fun in the driveway today. It's the little things.

Happy Easter!

The most exciting thing in their Easter baskets this year? Toy Story pocket tissues. Go figure.

Gus isn't quite awake yet

Nick Jr. Peter Rabbit chocolate bunnies

Gus is grumpy because...he's Gus. And don't let Dave's smile fool you. He's grumpy on the inside because he's wearing a tie for the first time in two years.

Love this family! Our anti-social kids actually like their kids. I'll have your kids wrangle my kids and we'll do lunch! ;)

And Rachel was nice enough to take some family pictures for us

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Birthday Celebration

We enjoyed a little birthday party at the Cedillos house tonight. Katy made her famous fish tacos and the kids and I got to ride Lucy.

Scuff doesn't let anyone ride him but he doesn't mind being petted...or given treats.

Lucy

Cheeeeese!

Peek-a-boo I see you!

Trudy and Gus both got Easter baskets from the Cedillos!

Ride like the wind

Bella taught Trudy how to brush down a horse

Once it got dark we released paper lanterns.

Rapunzel's not the only one that gets a light show for her birthday

Loving the look of childish delight on....Katy and Dads' faces. LOL!

Which one shines brighter? ;)

Thanks for the wonderful birthday, ya'll!
